On my mail preference page, I checked the box indicating I want to receive an email when I get a PM when I am not logged on to the zone. I used to always get an email alert, but I've gotten some PM's lately and have not gotten an email. I also don't get the trumpet sound when I am logged on that I used to get when someone sent me a PM when I was logged on. Is something wrong with these alerts?
i have the same problem too. and also on person watch.
I was not aware there's an email indication for knowing the pm's. I get emails whenever I get a vm instead.

Raaj, there is a checkbox to use if you want an email notification of PM's. It's under mail preferences which you get to by acting like you're goint to check for new messages. It used to work but doesn't anymore. AND like I said, I think some of the messages I've gotten lately have happened while I've been logged in, so I should be hearing that trumpet sound that I used to hear to let me know someone just sent a PM. BUT that doesn't seem to be working either.
I didn't get an email the last time I received a PM and wasn't logged in, but I just got a PM a little while ago and heard the trumpet sound.
